Hello! My name is Ashley, I created Lazy daisy Jones in 2013. I had just turned 50 & I wanted somewhere to connect with like minded women, aka my tribe. I wanted to share inspiration, the ups and downs & the joys of midlife. Here you will read about my lifelong love of sewing & crochet. I also share simple everyday style from my wardrobe & cruelty free beauty & skincare products I favour. Last, but not least I document the rustic, industrial & handmade interiors from our home. Those days . . . When you are almost 60 with probably more years behind you than in front of you, but it doesn’t feel like it. When you go round your mate’s house and you both run up to her room, laughing and giggling and take selfies for the gram. When you go shopping, buy stuff for your hair, have coffee and talk about makeup (actually you don’t stop talking all day) When you return home, tired but happy and exchange photos from the day. Then you know that age is just a number and real friends are worth cherishing.
