The year my son left for university was hard for me, Children do indeed, leave an empty nest behind them. The house was quiet and felt empty, although we spoke every day and he was happy, I wanted to mark the occasion with a piece of jewellery. Afterall, we commemorate births and marriages so why not an empty nest? The hardest decision on what to buy was taken out of my hands when serendipity stepped in, Astley Clarke invited me if to choose one of their necklace love lockets. Immediately I knew this would be the perfect piece to mark the occasion of the boy leaving home.
Astley Clarke in partnership with The World land Trust will contribute 10% of all sales to help environmental and rain-forest conservation projects.

Love lockets Are Having A Moment.
Astley Clarke provide a wonderful personalisation service for their love lockets. They will engrave it and if you provide a photo image, they will mount it in the locket. I chose both, a picture of my boy with the pooch, and I had his name engraved on the outside. You can order replacement photos anytime.
The locket I chose is called the Earth Locket it has an added bonus in that in partnership with The World land Trust the brand will contribute 10% of all sales to help environmental and rain-forest conservation projects.
