I do not wear clothes suitable for midlife, I wear clothes that make me happy. However, this year you will not be seeing me on the beach in a tiny red sequinned bikini, but my point is if you want to wear one then go right ahead, life is short! In 2020 I prefer my beachwear to be voluminous and my swimsuits to be clever and comfy ie. no silly necklines or baggy bums!

2020 Beachwear and swimsuits
I would happily wear all of the garments I am featuring. In fact when researching shopping posts it is very hard to resist pressing the ‘add to cart’ button! Neutral colours are lifesavers, they go with everything and you can mix and match them to your hearts content.
I prefer to mix my caramel colours (posh word for beige) with blacks and natural accessories. I have a tortoise shell hair clip from the 80’s, I’m wearing it today to hold my hair back. Then of course just add in the staple straw basket and away you go. If you love colour on the beach, mix it with a black kaftan or a beige cotton over sized shirt dress.
