February 2020 Seen Heard Bought & Visited.

Bye bye February 2020 you were cold, dull and long. Hello March you are looking good from my perspective, I can see your blue skies already! How was your month? Here is a glimpse of a few things I got up to in February…

A Haircut & Curl

I regularly have my hair trimmed, just a fraction off the ends everytime I visit, helps it to grow thick and long. Then every 7 weeks or there abouts I  have my roots coloured and blended into the rest of the colours in my hair. sometimes I let my brilliant colourist do whatever she wants! February 2020 saw her introducing some peach tones…

I sewed a bag of fish!

I am currently in the middle of making and sourcing costumes for a play. As part of this I needed to make and sew up 20 fish for glove puppets…I have been told they work well.

A New Candle

I was gifted this gorgeous smelling candle by This Works, just in time for Valentines day! ‘This Works’ were getting behind a campaign to get us to put our phones away when we go to bed, and talk to each other, or better still have a hug! Do you look at your phones before you go to sleep? I am mortified to say we both do. Going forward I will try not to, I might even buy an alarm clock (remember those?) and leave my phone to charge downstairs.

Marc Made A Hedgehog Door!

If you experienced the storms during February, you will know how much havoc they caused throughout the UK. We had 3 fence panels destroyed by the 80mph gales that blew through Dorset. Marc had to replace the panels and whilst he did that he made sure that the family of hedgehogs that visit out garden were catered for. They now have a brand new entrance to our garden. Did you know hedgehogs need access to at least 4 gardens to be able to gather enough food to feed themselves and their families?

I continued with my three Crochet blankets…

Murphy turned 2!

In February  our darling little fluff-pot turned 2 and has grown into a shaggy Shihtzu at last…how did that happen?

Love your hair colour. It looks fabulous. Those little hedgehog doors are the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time. No phones allowed in our bedroom. They already take up too much of our time.

      Hi Lorna,
The hedgehog door is clever isnt it?
You are so good to not have phones in the bedroom, I applaud you!

Love your hair, the peach bits really suit you. I also love the hedgehog door – who would have known that they need four gardens to forage through?

      Thank you re my hair!

Yes it is interesting isn’t it?
Hedgehogs are dying out fast and its not surprising when you think of all the slug pellets people leave out, the hedgehogs then eat the dead or dying slugs and are immediately poisoned too! Needless to say we dont use slug pellets either.

      Thanks for your comment
