Ensuite Renovation Update Progressing Slowly But Surely!
Do you remember my first mention of our ensuite renovation plans? It was way back in November last year. Well slowly but surely we have progress… Slowly because Marc is doing 99% of it himself and life… well life is very busy for this man. I have to book an appointment with him in advance! As usual I know exactly what I want, we just have to work out the cheapest way to buy, make or restore it!

Ensuite Renovation Update:
Whilst I have added to my pile of ‘ideas and inspo cuttings’ Marc has been working hard (whenever he gets the chance) So far it looks a little like this…
Marc has now completely dismantled and removed everything. The tiles, pipes, plasterboard and shower tray, sink and toilet. Hurrah so now its stripped bare he is carefully putting it all back together…

Ensuite Renovations are not easy!
So many details to take care of; drainage, storage, lighting and flooring to name a few. The ergonomics of such a small space has taken a lot of thinking about. I started designing by imagining how I want to feel when I am in there, I wanted to feel cosy, relaxed, pampered and calm…

Budget.
Keeping it as low as possible! The silver lining with this project taking a long time, is that we can manage the purchases monthly. So the shower tray one month, with a few vintage bits and plumbing, the sink cabinet and tiles the next!
Ensuite Renovation Colours.
In keeping with the dark grey of our bedroom, we are staying with grey and white, it would be mad not too I like a house to flow, not to have different colours/styles in every room. I am loving the style, colours and the vibe of this tile below…
