Sharing 5 under £7 Cheap Beauty Products I Use Everyday

The word ‘cheap’ conjures up all sorts of nasties for me. Apply it to the subject of make-up and I will always imagine the worst, bad packaging, allergies etc etc. Cheap beauty products have an unnecessarily bad reputation. Today I’m here to change your mindset. These 5 inexpensive beauty products all under £7, have worked hard for me and earned themselves a mention and a link on my blog.

I use them almost everyday, they live in my handbag (or my pocket) and are always close to hand…I say ‘almost’ because I dont use the eyeliner everyday. However, 90% of the time I will reach for these little gems first!

The 5 Inexpensive Beauty Products I use almost everyday:

Number One:

Salon Performance Mini Oval Brush £5

The ‘no brainer’ product first. A small hair brush that fits into even a tiny handbag, something we all need? I have long straight hair and this is perfect. Occasionally I keep this in my jacket pocket. Mine is an older one, I have linked the latest version for you.

Number Two:

Burts Bees 100% Natural lip Balm £3.99

Another beauty essential I have lots of these scattered around, one on my desk, one by my bed, one in the car and another in my crochet basket! My favourite is the pink Grapefruit shown below, but there are lots of others to choose from…

Number Three:

CYO Two Clever By Half Lipstick & Liner £2.75

A lipstick and liner in one pencil, I love this idea and not just cheap, but bloody good as well! Its only £2.75 at the moment!

CYO stands for ‘create your own’ I wrote about the CYO collection last year when it launched. My favourite colour is called ‘Rainmaker’ a sheer nude seen below. Oh my goodness at that price I just might buy another?

• Highly pigmented
• Glides on smoothly
• Creamy formula that’s comfortable to wear
• Doesn’t feather or bleed
• Lips feel moisturised
• Long lasting

Number Four

Rimmel Lasting Radiance concealer.

I first read about this in the Sunday times, a recent product that again does more than one thing, it conceals and illuminates but only costs £6.99. It is soft and moisturising, looks very natural, doesn’t sit in my creases either.

Rimmel say: “The inclusion of peptides increases elasticity so skin recovers and bounces back more quickly. Contains the added benefits of Vitamin C and radiance pearls that illuminate the skin and gives you a dewy look all day long.”

Number Five:

CYO this lines a keeper £5.00

Oh my goodness you have been warned this eyeliner does not budge. It stays and stays, so be careful with your application. I love it, its rare that a product actually stay on my eyes these days, so a thumbs up for one that does.

Creates any type of line

Smudge-proof. Water resistant. Lasts all weekend (48 hours)
