Regular readers may know that Marc ( the other half) is very very talented when it comes to repairing restoring and creating industrial stuff. This huge light is a case in point we have since seen similar, original ones for sale at over £2000! The other day as I was wandering around the house (attempting to tidy but getting distracted as usual) I realised that so many of the lamps and light fixtures we have in our home, were either made or restored by him, and I thought you may like a quick look at a small selection…?
We rarely buy new lighting but I would like some stylish wall lights in the kitchen and sitting room. So I have been researching online but don’t mention it to Marc!
In The kitchen Industrial Coffee Jars:
Lets start in the kitchen, he didn’t make these, in fact we have had them years and I cant even remember where we got them from! He did however, change the fixtures and add some colourful retro cable.
Hallway and Lounge : A handmade Eclectic assortment…

You can read the story behind this tomato tin can lamp in this post
In My Office :
A birdcage lampshade, plus (both courtesy of Marc) a restored Anglepoise lamp and a light bulb and cable on my wire board…
We waited a long time for the Anglepoise lamps that are on the wall. We had one but needed a matching pair and we wanted them the same…
So what do you think of our eclectic Industrial lighting plan so far…?
This huge light below in the sitting room is my favourite
