As the days become longer my creativity becomes stronger, I have lots of ideas, I am inspired by everything around me and I feel sooo much happier. Today is one of those days, the daffodils are blooming in our garden, the sun is shining and I have 3 crochet projects on the go at once!

So quick post to share with you what I do behind the scenes, when I am not blogging!
Crochet Project One
A lamb plant pot holder:
I made one a long time ago and always intended on making another. Last time I made a bunny for easter, this time I hooked up a lamb!
The original pattern can be found in an old Mollie Makes Issue, from 2015, 4 years ago.! I wrote about it way back then too in 2015!
Crochet Project Two:
A brightly coloured flower poncho:
A Frida Kahlo Inspired Poncho, pattern by Katie Jones. I am a huge fan of Katie Jones work, ethos and style. She loves colour and so do I.
No spending on yarn allowed! my challenge for this project was to use up what I already had. Luckily I had a lot of DK weight yarn in bright colours to use up. I am satisfied that my colour palette choice suggests Frida in all her bright floral glory. Do you think I succeeded?

Crochet Project Three:
A Blanket made from left over yarn
This blanket project was hooked up over Christmas, it kept me warm as I crocheted in front of the fire. Last week I finally finished sewing in all the ends. Again I used up all my scrap yarn, so this cosy blanket cost me nothing and gave me hours of joyful hooking…
