Lately, 5 things we got up to in November 2018
November 2018 seems like it was weeks ago but as I write this it was only 6 days ago! November for us is always an up and down and an in between month. In between autumn and winter, in between Halloween and Christmas it is an all or nothing month…
November 2018.
Do you know I often have to refer back to my Instagram photos to remind myself what we did in November? My menopause brain is full of confusion and so many dizzy thoughts these days!
Thing One
The knitwear came out of the wardrobe and I was happy at last to wear some new and old favourite jumpers! One from M&S and one in the Sale from ‘And other stories’ I will put some browsing links at the end if you are interested…
Thing Two
Marc made a hedgehog home for our garden as we have at least two in or around our garden. We never use slug pellets either, I think hedgehogs are more important than a few blooms that only last a week. what do you think. He designed it himself and made it from scratch using scrap wood. He did not paint it in case the paint chemicals might harm the hogs…
Thing Three
This little doggy turned one year old. Now that year simply flew past. He is a solid gold colour, Shih-tzu and is the funniest dog ever! We have another Shih-tzu too and they are both different personalities with a dash of laughter running through both…
Thing Four
My 17 year old Skateboarding son broke his wrist. Yep! you guessed it he fell off his skateboard, whilst performing a trick from a 12ft high drop, at an indoor skatepark. He now sports a bright pink cast on his left wrist and cannot skate until after christmas. I think that hurts him more than the actual break. You can imagine how I felt, it never gets easier when your child is hurt does it?

Thing Five
My friend Laurie from the blog ‘Vanity and me’ and her wife Dee came to stay for a night in Dorset. We managed to put together a ‘twinning post’ for you to read soon…
A Couple of Bonus Things!
As usual there were a few trips to London, to attend press previews and blog events. I do have to decline some lovely invitations because of distance and time, plus unless the brand pays for travel it does get very expensive.
The two I chose to attend this month were the Fantasie Lingerie spring summer 2019 preview and of course my favorite brand to work with JD Williams spring/summer 2019 collection preview
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]JD Williams hosted a fabulous Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed tea after their press show, look at the deserts I was stuffed to bursting after that![/perfectpullquote]
