Lingerie – Such a lovely alternative word for our knickers and bras dont you think? I love the way it sounds, even the syllables ooze style and suggest something special. Speaking of lingerie, have you ever had one of those embarrassing moments? You know the one, you are out on the town and feeling fabulous. The new dress fits perfectly, the shoes are sexy and comfy and everyone is smiling at you, sneaking admiring glances when they think you aren’t looking…or are they?
…everyone is smiling at you, sneaking little glances when they think you aren’t looking…
You know what I’m going to say next dont you? The knickers tucked in the tights scenario? Nope not this time, although yes, been there, seen it done it! No this time it’s a faulty button on the new dress. Its undone, so there you are soaking up the attention and thinking you must look marvellous. Whilst back in reality your right boob has been on show for at least 10 minutes and everyone knew it except you! Yes that moment… Luckily you were wearing your newest, prettiest lingerie and the bra is super pretty. So, instead of feeling mortified, you sigh with relief and have a good giggle at your own expense.

My New ‘Peony Florale’ lingerie set by Triumph.
This most important quality I look for in a bra is comfort. If a Bra is uncomfortable ( even if it fits well) then I won’t wear it again ever! I am talking about the little things like the labels, are they removable? The stitching is it rough and scratchy? The metal fastenings what are they made of, I am allergic to Nickel so this is very important for me. The straps are they wide enough, are they soft enough? I could go on but I think you get the idea, it is all in the details… A cheap bra will never ever work for me.
The four Panel Cup on The Peony Florale Bra.
Triumph have outdone themselves with this one. This bra has four panel sections that make up the cup. This means that it creates a bust shape that is even, round and natural. I can confirm that it really does. Perfect if you have a fuller cup too.
“Peony Florale bra is a new Triumph hero fit and exclusive signature. Peony Floral is the ultimate fit and comfort experienced in everyday wear: a beautifully decorated series with premium touches like signature stretch Peony lace with high quality tulle. Elegant and feminine. Women demanding the best in class support with tasteful and decorative style, will find this 4 section cup gives a natural, even and round bust shape.”
Can we talk about the beautiful details on this bra?
Having sewn lingerie myself, I know how many tiny pieces of fabric and elastic go in to making just one bra. Add in all the metal fixtures and you have a real puzzle on your hands, believe me it’s not as easy as you think.
Look at this brass coloured ‘hardware’ so unique and so pretty I have never seen fastenings in this colour before, I think it goes perfectly with the colours and tones.
The details on the inside…
This one fits like a dream in all the right places, nothing rubs or annoys, the inside is soft and very comfortable. So comfortable in fact that I forgot I was wearing it… Hallelujah! Look at the details below, every seam is beautifully finished, that underwiring will never escape, it is fixed firmly in place…
I could go on but I think you get the idea, it is all in the details…
When you find a pretty bra the matching knickers can often be a let down. Not this pair, they gently hold you in all the right places, and with the beautiful tulle peony lace, they perfectly match the quality and exquisiteness of the bra.
The high waist ensures brilliant coverage and the cotton gusset adds to the overall comfort. I just have to have a cotton gusset these days ( is it an age thing?)
