Debating: Stacey Dooley ‘Fashions Dirty Secrets’ Documentary
You cannot possibly have missed the various and sometimes heated discussions on Instagram, twitter etc, centering around this documentary on how fashion pollutes our planet. If you missed it catch up here … Did you watch it?
Regular readers will know this year I will not be buying from the cheap fashion stores and have vowed to buy less, buy better, re wear everything and make it last! I think even the tiniest change in our thinking and habits will help…

Trends: Cowboy Boots Are Back!
It’s a fashion news headliner but did they ever really go away? Not if you live in nashville!

TV: Killing Eve Series Two confirmed!
Im fist pumping the air (really I am) yes yes and yes! Killing Eve will be back for a second series next year. A fabulous and very watchable piece of TV. I loved the music and as for the fashion it was dreamy, eclectic and although expensive, stunningly beautiful.

Fashion Trends High street Retailers will adopt for s/s19 taken from Paris Fashion week
Looks to me that there is nothing new to see here folks…
Colours: Black will be back. Plus white with a secondary palette of brights in particular pink, blue, green and orange. I do like the sound of that.
Shapes: Boxy as in blazers, and biker jackets (yawn)
Prints: as we all know by now animal prints and branding will be strong followed by stripes graphics and abstract florals.
Themes: and I quote from this article
..the most important themes from Paris Fashion Week will be goth, travel and 1970s-inspired. While the goth theme is aligned with the dominating color scheme, 1970s and travel themes are reflective of current nostalgic trends we have been witnessing as of late.
So you see not much will change for s/s19 on the high street.
The mid Season sales are on and it’s Halloween soon
