Autumn Crushing Check Wrap Coats

Wrap coats must surely be the cosiest style of Winter coat ever? When Jack frost visits Dorset all I want to do is wrap myself up in a blanket and sit by the fire. When I do have to venture outside then wearing a wrap coat is just like keeping my blanket on.

May I introduce to you, my latest Autumn Crush, the wrap coat …

Autumn Crushing Check Wrap Coats

Wrap coats were featured in all the September fashion magazines as the style of coat for Autumn Winter 2018.

Wrap Coats

This style of coat was featured in all the September fashion magazines as the style of coat for Autumn Winter 2018. Make it a check pattern  (aka plaid for those of you in the US)  and you will be wearing red hot on trend item!

Luckily I have two already in my wardrobe, one of them is a Max Mara camel wool coat that is still beautiful, even though it is over 20 years old. Talk about money well spent!

JD Williams Wrap Coat

This is my latest one, I wore it last week when the weather turned cold and it was very windy…

It is from JD Williams as you probably know by now a brand I love not only because of its prices, but also because of its quality and attention to detail…

It’s not too heavy, you can easily wear it in the car for short journeys!

Have you seen the new JD Williams autumn campaign? The ‘I Am’  campaign and TV advert embraces women of all shapes and sizes, ages and colour. How wonderful is it to see a brand using real women as models?

Nicely designed- unlike a lot of check coats it’s very streamlined and elegant, and looks warm too.
