Mixing an old favourite with my new red trousers & mustard loafers

Mixing old and new is a necessity for most of us these days, who can afford to wear new pieces everyday? not me! As a blogger I do realise that I am incredibly lucky to be sent the occasional outfit to wear. I do however, only agree to work with brands I truly admire and would buy their clothes anyway. You will never see me wearing something I dont like just because I have been sent it in return for a review. The same goes for beauty products…

The clothes are no nonsense, true to size (on me) and are great quality for a very reasonable price. I wear and wear my JD Williams clothes and not just in blog posts, in real life too. Last week we popped out for juice and some healthy cake (is there such a thing?) … In the pic below I’m rather liking how my beetroot and ginger juice matches my trousers!

Mixing old and New.

In this post I am wearing and old but well loved ‘folk’ style blouse from ‘And Other Stories’ and have teamed it with these gorgeous wide trousers and my new suede loafers from JD williams:

New Red Trousers

These days I am a 60% comfort and 40% style kinda girl, yes obviously I have reached that age!

These new red trousers are not only comfortable but in my opinion they are effortlessly stylish. With an elasticated back and a clever pleated design in the front. They are made in a heavy ‘ish’ fabric in a deep red colour. I think this is a great transitional outfit for the start of Autumn. they fall beautifully and make a swishing sound when you walk (I love that)
