Today I have picked 5 of my instagram images and I will explain how the pics came to be, some are probably not quite what you expected…

I have 2 instagram accounts, that serve different purposes. My Lazy Daisy Jones Instagram account has over 15.6K followers, it is my general lifestyle account. Whereas my Daisy Jones Style account is my outfits and accessories account, it has only a small following of 1,185. So I am going to choose a couple of pics from each account…

Instagram Images real or not real?
Most of my instagram images come to be because of problems or incidents that happin in real life, take for instance my puppies’ inability to control his bladder! Believe me he is responsible for 3 of the prettiest pictures in this post!
Instagram Images Story Number One: Blossom.
Blossom on IG is everywhere. This image was snapped in a Salisbury park. I had just dropped my son off and was driving home accompanied by the dogs. The puppy began to whine and I realised he wanted to pee! Luckily there was a space by the side of this pretty park so I pulled over. We both jumped out the puppy to pee and me to snap this gorgeous blossom…
Instagram is a funny thing. I see so many perfect images that I am growing bored of them. I think those carefully curated, pretty monochrome, images with highlights of pink or beige are incredibly boring. I am probably courting controversy, but to me they have no life or spirit in them. Life is colourful, random and untidy in the most wonderful way. Those are the images I like to see…

Instagram Images Story Number Two: Me in a Field.
No I didn’t just go and stand in a field to get my photo taken, it was another puppy pee stop! Luckily this time my son was with me in the car, so while we waited I asked him to take a pic because the sky was a beautiful blue and the sun was shining…I later cropped it to size et voila!
Instagram Images Story Number Three: Classic car.
We were walking back from taking some outfit with shoes pictures for a blog post
When we noticed that the man who collects classic cars had parked one very near to our house. Marc and I were admiring it and we decided to snap some pics with me next to it. A lucky break that turned into a popular IG post for me! I am now waiting for him to park another, he has a gorgeous green Triumph Spitfire too.
Instagram Images Story Number Four: Daisies.

It was about 7pm, my boy and I had just attended a meeting at his school, about good exam revision habits. When we came out, not only was it still light but I was suprised to see the sun was still shining. I looked down to see this patch of lawn covered in Daisies. The other parents stared at me in puzzlement as I pulled out my phone and proceeded to photograph my feet!
Instagram Images Story Number Five: The Puppy.
So yes you guessed it … another puppy pee stop, luckily very close to an instagrammable field!
My son obliged by taking the pic and everyone was happy, except the lady whose entrance I blocked for a couple of minutes, while the puppy peed. To that woman I apologise, but you see I am an instagram fan who has to seize the moment!
