If My Hair Looks Great I Can Tackle The World, thanks to Clairol Nice’n Easy
Clairol Nice’n Easy Permanent Hair Colour.
As I age my confidence in my looks waxes and wanes like the moon! It’s that cliché of becoming an invisible woman of a ‘certain age’
Some days I feel better than others and this usually depends on the state of my hair. Think about it, how good do you feel when you leave the hairdressers with a new colour and cut? Ready to tackle the world, right?

Clairol Nice’n Easy
If I am between hairdresser appointments and my grey roots are peeping through, then I am reluctant to be photographed for my blog, or even attend press events. I know that is silly but it’s those little things that can prevent us from doing the big things, as I am sure you will agree?
When I was younger it was all about worrying over a spot or two, now its those grey roots! Am i being vain? I don’t think so it’s all about how you feel.
A Confidence Boost from Clairol Nice’n Easy
Anything that gives me a much needed confidence boost is welcome in my bathroom cabinet.
So now if I have a meeting or an event to attend, and I am worried about being perceived as ‘too old’ due to my grey roots showing I simply pop on some Clairol Nice’n easy to cover my roots and brighten my hair…
New Damage Blocking Technology.
New Clairol Nice’n Easy has a new gentle care formula with damage blocking technology and conditioners built into every step and 100% grey coverage. Not only that, it has a special hair dye molecule that reduces the chance of you developing a hair allergy.
How do I know all this?
Because I tried it! I must admit I have not used a home hair colour for some time. I thought it would be messy, smelly and fiddly.
I’m so glad I gave it a go because it was none of the above. The formula is non-drip, has a new floral scent with added conditioners and antioxidants at every step. The application instructions are simple and make sense…

The Results?
My hair was soft and shiny, very natural looking and it smelled lovely too. There were some pretty highlighted tones that showed up when the sun was shining on me. My hair felt healthy and moisturised. The after care conditioner that came with the kit is superb rich and creamy.
It’s The Little Things That Help You Do The Big Things…Like Joining Yoga Classes
Now I have a solution to my grey root problem, I feel ready to ‘get out there’ again. Next on my (as I have been saying forever) is to join a Yoga class. In the past, due to my age, I have been too shy to join, thinking that yoga classes are filled with young Mums and girls! I know that is silly but it is a confidence thing, right?
My Clairol Nice’n Easy Details:
I used Clairol Nice’n Easy in Shade 7C dark Cool Blonde
It was a perfect match for my brownish blonde hair and covered my grey roots completely.
I left it on for about 25 minutes as advised in the instructions, because my hair already had some colour on. If you have long thick hair like me you may need to use 2 packets?
Also always remember to do a patch test 48 hours before colouring.
