My Man is a Uniqlo Fan 3 New Mens T-shirts

Uniqlo is one of those rare shops where I know I can always find clothes to buy for the whole family, even my fussy 16 year old son! This year it is my other half Marc, who has bought the most, he has already found 3 mens spring t-shirts that he absolutely loves and already wears.

A trip to london with him is an absolute joy. We shop, stop for lunch and drinks, then shop some more…

Shopping for Men in Uniqlo.

He will be 50 this year (shhhhh) and if you are  regular reader you will know that he is also a very clever man, he can make, repair or mend anything. One fact you may not know about him is that he loves shopping! He prefers to visit the actual shops in the high street. A trip to london with him is an absolute joy. We shop, stop for lunch and drinks, then shop some more…heaven or what?

Over 50 Fashion Bloggers.

There are lots and lots of young fashion bloggers in the world. However, there are not many over 50 fashion bloggers. There appears to be more over 50’s blogging in the USA, than here in the UK, would you agree with that?

There are even less men over 50 who appear in blogs. So when I saw him wearing one of the Uniqlo t-shirts whilst on vacation in florida in January. I came up with the idea of giving him his very own blog post and he agreed to it! So without further ado may I introduce you to Marc my old man…

Three Uniqlo T-shirts

Hokusai Katsushika was born in Honjo Warigesui, Edo. He flourished in a number of areas including Yakusha-e (ukiyo-e prints of popular kabuki actors) and book illustration. His works greatly influenced Western artists. To this day, he remains one of the most international renowned Japanese artists

T-shirt two:

We all love Andy Warhol in our house and although this one has sold out there are lots more to choose from.

What a proffesional model!😁😁😁 In the Netherlands we have very few over 50 fashion bloggers. And I already featured my man in the blog, months ago! He got a Jord watch, but I told him that he only could have it if he would model!😂😂😂😂

Well done Marc! What a good sport. I love the scarf (is it a scarf, or does it have another name?) he’s wearing with the first t-shirt. I think what you said about 50+ blogging may well apply to 40+ too. It seems to be very much a young person’s game in the UK. Perhaps people think ‘I can’t do that, I’m too old’? It’s interesting…

      Hi Helen, thanks!
The scarf you mentioned is a very old ‘snood’ literally grabbed from the coat hooks as we left the house!
I agree with you about this age related lack of older bloggers.
I started my blog when I was 49, and had similar reservations…?
      bestest xxxxxx
