A Rare Glimpse of my Fantasie Lingerie
A conundrum for you. How to photograph oneself at 54, wearing pretty Fantasie lingerie without looking like a version of ‘readers wives’ ?! Hmmm it ain’t easy I can tell you. There was also the slight worry of the neighbours seeing through our conservatory blinds and seeing me, remote in hand, photographing myself. Readers my struggle was real!

Fantasie Lingerie.
This occurred because Fantasie Lingerie kindly sent me 3 very pretty bra and pants sets from their new 2018 Spring Summer collection. I toyed with the usual ‘flat lay’ styling scenario. Then decided to challenge myself. I would be brave, surely I could work out some way of tastefully showing you my new lingerie whilst actually wearing it…?
…I hope I succeeded because the lingerie is very pretty and so worth the effort, even if it is merely a glimpse that you see, of me wearing it. Well what did you expect a full frontal? Nooo not going to happen, ever!
My Fantasie Lingerie, The styles I chose:
1. Aimee
Let’s start with Aimee (see top pic) a very pretty design with suggestion of an animal print but adorned with the softest lace in rose gold tones. Fun but feminine, the colours make it very wearable too… The pants are very comfortable, they dont ride up and there are no seams in awkward places either.
Prices start from £19.50

2. Josie
Josie is contemporary and striking, a mix of floral print with geometric stripes, on a white background. Soft fabric and stretch lace make this a lovely design for everyday wear. The straps are wide enough to be comfy but not too wide as to show under summer tops, if you know what I mean? I get so annoyed when bra straps show…
Prices start at £17.00
3. Sienna
I love this bright blue colour but Sienna also comes in light pink (a flesh tone) and black, so something for everyone to love. This fabric is so soft you can actually forget you are wearing it. It really is like a second skin! The lace is beautiful .
Leavers Lace: a word about this gorgeous lace…
[perfectpullquote align=”full” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]…’leavers lace’ was crafted in England in the 1800’s for the Monarchy and nobility. Unsurpassed in beauty, quality and creativity. Resistant yet delicate gives todays lingerie the notion of tradition and the refinement of the past…[/perfectpullquote]
I love the details on Sienna, note the little diamante trim on the bow…
No Favourites…
For once I dont have a favourite I love them all. Do you have a favourite? If so what would you choose?
