Blog Organisation Sorted A Home Office Diy
How is your work space looking today? Mine is cluttered, piles of papers and books everywhere, chaos reigns. However, I do have a solution for you, in the form of this simple home office diy project.

I am not a hoarder (haaaa, I can hear my Mum laughing!) but I do like to turn unwanted items into useful ones. If I see something that inspires me to upcycle it, I tuck it away for a future project. See not a hoarder, just a girl with a vision? yeah right.

A Clutter free Life
To be clutter free would be my dream, I have been reading about how clutter contributes to feelings of negativity. Now I know that is probably common sense but I can relate to it. My office is cluttered again and I dont want to work in it.
Behind the scenes I have been working on a couple of campaigns for some big brands. I love doing that type of work, it is extremely rewarding to see the finished result and I enjoy the challenge.
But lately this has taken most of my time and all of my energy and leaving very little for being tidy and clutter free.

A Home Office Diy project.
I spied this little sign at my Mums house in Florida. She takes part in monthly ‘Bunko’ games with about 20 other ladies and they win prizes on the side. This was one of her prizes and she kindly donated it to me because I declared ‘it would come in useful one day’ Today is that day!
I am a visual person, I like to see and be inspired by images. Therefore, I have piles of torn magazine pages, most with notes scribbled on them. I dont want them filed out of sight, I want them tidy but visible.
The Project:
This sign with its little gold bulldog clips is perfect, but I am not a black, white, lipstick and gym kinda girl. Well ok maybe the lipstick! So I gave it a Lazy Daisy Jones makeover…
(Apologies to all who like the sign just as it is. Life would be so boring if we all liked the same things agreed?)
I took it all apart, used two coats of Annie sloan Chalk Paint, in Provence, my fave colour. Then I just just printed out a few labels… eh Voila!
Where to Buy:
Papermash have some fab bulldog clips in a variety of sizes. Plus they sell Rifle Paper Company prints and cards too, dont click! you will be tempted to buy!
