My 2 star buys from the Zara Sale

A Zara sale is always something I look forward to. The prices are usually 50% off sometimes more, especially at the end of the sale. Plus I always spot something that I originally wanted at full price, but could not afford at the time. Win win!

Zara Sale.

This year’s winter sale was a case in point. At full price I had lusted after this shearling coat and this wonderful soft blend shawl scarf.

I managed to snap them up at bargain prices during our weekend trip to london over the new year. The Regent Street store is one of my favourites, its very large with a wide range of products. I can always find my size in this store, whereas my local Bournemouth store sells out quickly. I wear a medium in Zara for outerwear as I like extra room to wear layers underneath.

Swanage for a morning coffee and a Puppy viewing!

My sale buys were both worn and appreciated this weekend. We had a very important appointment to keep. We were going to meet our brand new Shih Tzu puppy for the first time. He is not old enough to bring home yet,we have to wait another 3 weeks, but we are all in love with him already.

The weather was promising to be icy cold on the coast, so I knew exactly what I would be wearing, my new coat and scarf. We decided to take our other Shih Tzu with us and started with a brisk walk by the sea!

Oh boy it was not only freezing it was blowing a gale look at these windy pics…

Our faces began to go numb,so after the dog had had his run, we sought sanctuary in an old Hotel up the hill from the beach. This place was very old fashioned and a little run down, but had some amazing original features …

I love seaside towns in the winter, don’t you? Perhaps it’s because I was born in one?

Look at this ceiling, can you spot the cracks? I find it a little sad …

I was caught with my phone out taking snaps of the tiled floor you may have seen them recently on my Instagram account ? Yep you guessed it I was using the #ihavethisthingwithtiles !

Your blog is so fantastic! I struggled for such a long time finding the right name for mine, and I’m still redesigning the logo–there’s a new one on the horizon. What a great name and logo you have. Then the coat and scarf you’re featuring here–wow–love! I look forward to being a dedicated reader!

Nice styling of your outerwear. So many people neglect it. But’s so important. It’s an outfit too. Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style.

Ashley, I absolutely both of these pieces! That coat is amazing! You look beautiful. And seriously what’s not to love about a seaside town in winter? In fact, I don’t really like the ocean in the summer. My preference is to be bundled up and cozy and just enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the smells of the sea.

Shelby you are too kind thank you!
Yes old seaside towns are very special and in England they are very old too! Hence the reason why they are a little run down.
However that particular day was very very cold!!
      bestest wishes

Beautiful coat and it kept you toasty in the wind, and the details in that hotel are delightful,
