Hopes Dreams & Aspirations for 2018

As usual for me, no resolutions, no diets just a list of plans, a few aspirations and some dreams. To put it simply my hopes dreams & aspirations for 2018 are simple ones which I aim to turn into achievable goals.

I’m laughing at those words, it sounds so simple. Like a magic formula for making dreams come true. Who knows it just might work!

Hopes Dreams & Aspirations for 2018

Last year I wrote a very similar  post because I feel that putting it ‘out there’ wherever that may be helps me to stay the course. There were some things I achieved, some things are still ongoing and some things that were so much the stuff of dreams that I hadn’t even dare to believe were possible, but they were.

Hopes 2018

Of course I hope for world peace, equality and an end to poverty but alas, I doubt I will see an end to these problems in my lifetime?

My hopes are personal ones:

I hope my family will stay content and healthy and we will continue to make amazing memories together as we explore our wonderful planet. I am hoping that my Mama will continue to have her health, and enjoy her life in sunny florida. Hopefulness too that our new puppy (arriving soon) will bring us more laughter, love and fun.

I hope my son will achieve good grades in his GCSEs this year but I will never ever pressurise him to perform. For this reason, I know he will work hard because he wants to. Life is made up of more than just good grades.

This year I saw him grow into an independent young man, at 16 he travels to London navigates the tube and visits art galleries by himself. Not because he is without friends, but because he prefers it that way.He has an immense passion for art and engineering and today I am so proud of him I feel like my heart will burst.

For him, myself, my family and my friends I simply hope for more of the same.

Aspirations 2018

I dont wish for wealth, I have everything I need. I dont aspire to fame, I think it would be awful like living in a fishbowl.

My aspirations are blog related.

I aspire to build on my successes of last year. As you may know I am now a full time blogger, this simply put means I now have the luxury to spend time on my blog everyday. Time to visit events, meet new people and be inspired by others.

Last year I explain why I started my fashion category, this year as part of my hopes dreams & aspirations for 2018 I want to take it further and hone my photography skills by being brave and taking my camera and tripod outside to shoot by myself, remote in hand! Advice appreciated.

“I may have mentioned I am now a full time blogger, this simply means I have the luxury to spend more time on my blog .Time to visit events, meet new people and be inspired by others. That to me is a luxury.”

Due to work commitments, I stumbled at being ‘consistent’ with my blog posts last year. This year I have taken that word and posted it everywhere, to help me stay the course. I want to consistently post on the same days every week, so you will know when to expect a post.

I have also started a mailing list, you will be able to sign up at the end of this post (if you haven’t already, and to those of you who have thank you!)

Dreams 2018

Sorry to tease you on this one but my dreams I will keep private for now. Needless to say I have many. So watch this space and I will let you know if any come true!

Short term Goals: I do have a few things to say about goals.

  • We are joining in with ‘Dry January’ as I am feeling very lethargic and am hoping this will bring back some energy.
  • I am planning on starting from scratch with our spare room designing a dressing room with spare bed.
  • I would like to start Yoga because I am sitting down most of the day with blogging.

Hmmm again watch this space and we will see?

Wishing you all wonderful 2018. Are you sharing your goals or your hopes dreams & aspirations for 2018 ? I would love to know more…

PS some of the wonderful sationary in the pics comes from Flying Tiger a shop I must stop visiting because I always come out with things I want but don’t need!

I always appreciate a share!
