Taking time out with my new East bag
My new East bag is proving itself to be invaluable. It’s all down to the size, tall and thin (like me in my twenties haa) which means you can put large things in it like the Sunday Times yep every single page of it! I’m not just talking the Style mag supplement…
My new East bag is called Shangri-la.
One of the things I love about this bag, is that its not wide, which is brilliant because you can’t overload it and end up carrying the equivalent of Santa’s sack around all day then wake up the next morning with a shoulder ache. Believe me I have done that many times with big bags.
East Clothing have come up with a stunning bag in my opinion.
We took some time out from the christmas madness.
On the morning of Christmas Eve, my man and I decided to stop and ‘smell the coffee,’ in other words to take a moment to reset ourselves. A moment to breathe and be in the moment. Sometimes the christmas madness adds up to unnecessary worries over trivial things. Have we got enough cream? Have we wrapped everything perfectly? I am sure you know how it goes.
“…I set my new East bag down and pulled out the Sunday Times. Like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, magic. Mary Poppins comes to mind…”
The Crown Blandford Forum.
We decided to visit a local Hall and Woodhouse bar in The Crown in Blandford Forum. The Crown is a very old Coaching Inn, at least 300 years old, possibly even dating back to the 14th century.
As we arrived we were suprised to find the place awash with guests, enjoying early christmas lunches with their families. The atmosphere was warm and friendly because everyone was happy.
We settled into a cosy corner and I set my new East bag down and pulled out the Sunday Times. Like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, magic. Mary Poppins comes to mind.
Shangri la Bag by East, the details:
East describes this beautiful bag as…
” This oversized black bag features a bold chinese dragon inspired motif and striking gold edging. Styling details include a comfortable shoulder strap, clasp opening and features an array of inside pockets for those all important valuables.”
The East Shangri la Bag design, is based on a vintage style and comes in black too. I think it is beautiful
It’s the size of the bag and the pockets that make it so handy. However, I would advise not overfilling this is a big bag. The pockets are brilliant with various sizes for various needs. The flap at the back is my fave feature, perfect for a magazine and keeping tickets handy when travelling.
If I had a smaller laptop I would use this bag as an uber stylish laptop holder.
