Christmas shopping at Homesense
Homesense is always at the top of my list for actual Christmas shopping as opposed to virtual shopping ie. online. You see Homesense goodies can only be bought in real life. If you pick the right day that means a fun morning finding bargains and perhaps tea and cakes afterwards as a treat? My local Homesense store, just outside Poole, has a lovely tea shop nearby.
On my Homesense Christmas List.
I needed to buy stocking filler gifts. Some for the cool teen, some for a keen gardener and some for my old man. Would you like to see what I found?
The Cool Teen:
He is the easiest teen to buy for, like me he is creative, but also likes his tech.
Therefore, a set of three notebooks with a midcentury design, plus a pair of headphones that fold up. Job done…
The Keen Gardener:
I wanted a gift that was not the usual gardners gift, no trowels or flowerpots. Something useful but more original, like this Orla kiely Garden Journal perhaps? perfect!
The grumpy old man:
Always the hardest to buy for. He loves his tools and time saving gadgets, but buys them all for himself. Can you believe he takes the ‘tools R us’ catalogue to bed with him for some quiet reading?
I was stumped on this one and was hoping for some ‘in store inspiration’ there was plenty.
No. not a star wars cookie jar! but these lovely looking, stainless steel flasks, great for soup in winter and iced drinks in summer…I’ll take two please.
Treats for the Shopper?
One for you and one for me be honest, do you do that too? I couldn’t resist a couple of bits for myself…christmas scented candles and some bath goodies at a bargain price…
Of course if you can’t decide what to buy, perhaps a Homesense gift card available to buy online would be the answer?
I have almost finished my christmas shopping all thanks to Homesense. Have you visited your local store yet? So many unique finds at wonderful prices.
