August 2017 Behind the Scenes and News

August 2017 in my mind is full of sunshine and sparkles, in reality I think there was more rain and grey skies. I do know it was for the most part a happy, busy and exciting month for me.

As a family we went on a little ‘Staycation’ in sunny Devon.

I know it may be sad to get excited about a supermarket opening but I certainly did when a brand new Lidl opened up the road! I even went comparison shopping

My Exciting News in August 2017.

I promise to tell you much more next week, but briefly I was chosen by JD Williams along with 5 other blogger/influencers and journalists to be part of JD Williams’ re-branding and re-launching campaign.

To say I was excited and very proud would be an understatement. I was beside myself and couldn’t stop smiling all last month.

I travelled up to Manchester for the night, stayed in a lovely hotel where I met the film crew and my fellow bloggers. We then went out for a marvellous meal and the next day we were up bright and early to start videoing and shooting for JD williams Autumn and christmas collection. I returned home exhausted (it must be my age) but feeling uplifted full of inspiration after having met so many wonderful, creative people.
