New hashtag ideas pop up all the time, in my head as well as on instagram. In fact it’s hard to keep up with them all. Some fade into obscurity and others just keep on growing. I have to admit to loving a good hashtag, I like researching them and I have to restrain myself from using too many, yes you may call me a little addicted…
“I have to admit to loving a good hashtag”
A New Hashtag Idea
As a lover flowers and petals and all the colours of the a new seasons. I enjoy seeing all the flower pics and how others choose to use them, flat-lays or in a vase. Yes I know there are many cliches. A case in point is Allison Sadler’s view on the overuse of peonies. What did you think of that discussion? At least a new hashtag came out of it #freeupmyinsta and I have been having fun playing it this week too.
My new hashtag is called #bloomingsleeves
Have you seen those pictures of someone’s arm holding a bunch of blooms or perhaps even a single flower up against a contrasting background. They are one of my favourite images on Insta. They are easy to take by yourself and always show up well on your feed. I have discovered that others who follow me also like these pics because they receive a lot of likes too.
Fashion and colour combined.
I chose this new hashtag very quickly today and popped it up on my feed this morning. It’s a very usable hashtag for me because I can combine my love of fashion with the sleeves and my love of colour with the backgrounds and the flowers. I like to have an interesting sleeve, ie puffed, flared, draped, bell or even just a classic cuff then contrast the flower colours with the background, perhaps light vs dark as on this one…
So will you join me? I’d love to see some of your ‘blooming sleeves’ images pop up as I scroll through my phone!
