5 Inexpensive Everyday Products in my Makeup Bag

 My Makeup Bag

5 Inexpensive products in my makeup bag I can't live without

what's in my makeup bag?

What’s in my makeup bag? I so enjoy reading about the contents of other people’s makeup bags, so today I am writing one of my own…would you care to take a nose?

I use very little makeup, the older I get the less I use.

When I was younger I wore heaps of it. Can you believe as a Air stewardess in the eighties, we were reprimanded if we did not have our lipstick on during a flight!

Lately I have become fascinated with new cosmetic products. Technology has come so far and I always hope for a product that will work a miracle and make me look 10 years younger. My wonderful Nan used to say a smile will always do that and I agree, dont you?

Smiling aside, would you like to see what’s in my bag?

1. Revlon Insta Blush:

what's in my makeup bag? Revlon Insta blush

I found this via a recommendation from Sali Hughes, the renowned makeup artist and beauty journalist.

As I have aged, my skin has become dryer and powder blush does not give the ‘blooming  look I strive for. This cream blush on a pop up stick is so sheer and soft it feels like velvet and I sometimes wear it on my lips too, for a quick pick me up! I purchased it in my local boots, this colour is theSali recommends, its called ‘Berry Kiss’ and costs £9.99

2. Bobbi Brown Art Stick:

what's in my makeup bag? Bobbi Brown

I love a chunky pencil (especially when it comes with a free pencil sharpener!) I use this as a lipliner and lipstick all in one, it’s soft, very natural looking and quick to apply. I have even used it for a slick of eyeshadow too as it is a brown-rosie colour. I have the colour in ‘Bare’ or no. C56.  this costs £21.50 ok, not cheap but definitely inexpensive as it is a lipliner and lipstick all in one? I use this all the time, plus it comes with a very handy pencil sharpener! I bought mine online from the Bobbi Brown website.

3.4. & 5. For your eyes only!

3. Do you want a Mascara for thin lashes that is not too gunky? this one from 17 one does it for me. £6.29 from Boots.

4. EyeKo fat eyeliner/shadow pen. I use this as an eyeliner or shadow the colour is a very dark grey so it works for everyday wear too. For going out I just apply more. £16 for a set of three, in brown black and smoke or grey.

5. More Brows from Model Co (this used to be sold in Superdrug?) I comb it through my brows even if I’m not wearing makeup that day. For a ‘tidy’ look. £13.00 from the model Co website.

…….

Plus two bonus products that are also in my bag, not cheap but worth every penny and I love them…

what's in my makeup bag?

Chanel lipstick in a natural lip colour called Rouge Coco no 402 ‘Adrienne’ £28.00 and my newest most amazing foundation called ‘Light wonder’ by Charlotte Tilbury. Spf 15 it’s as light as air! I bought this in Fenwicks dept store london for £32.00

So this is what is in my makeup bag…
