Instagram are you an influencer or influenced?
The word influencer fascinates me. Who influences you? An alternate word to think about would be ‘inspires’. I freely admit I am often inspired by others on social media. Instagram is the worst or best! (depends on how you look at it)
Books, shoes, bargains even places to go. So yes I will admit to being easily influenced.
…are you an influencer or influenced?
My new style account on IG DaisyJonesStyle has introduced me to a whole other world of outfits and who wears what and where. I find it fascinating and comforting to see so many well dressed, stylish women over forty.
Shopping List, 3 Sale Bargains.
Lately I have been influenced by emails from brands, you know how it goes. If you have previously shopped on line with the brand, you would have added an email to be notified of delivery times etc. The new season comes around and an email showing, pretty images of spring, summer clothes and shoes in the depths of our grey winter has you clicking for more?
1 I bought a pair of Clark’s shoes reduced from £70 to £28. They are so comfortable.
2 I bought a long wool cardigan I have had my eye on for ages, reduced from £50 to £19, so warm and the colour is rich and spicy. How wish I had some gold boots too, but enough is enough. I promise myself every sale season, that if I buy more, then I have to donate the older equivalent versions to Charity. Sometimes it works, I hop in the car drive to the charity shop, then pull a couple of bits out of the box at the last minute to return to my closet ‘just in case’ Have you ever done that?
3 Another pair of shoes because they are green and sparkly, so very perfect for spring. Did you know green is the colour for next year?
I’m trying to stop spending, I will be deleting any future emails asap (after I’ve checked what sizes and colours are left of course)
I would love to know if you have been influenced by anyone lately, it would make me feel less guilty for succumbing to a sale bargain or three!
