Nostalgia and my 6 Favourite Posts from 2016

27/12/2016

I try not to look back at the past, nostalgia very often makes me feel sad. Sometimes however, it is good for the soul. To review the year that is ending and welcome in the year that is beginning. I believe that is the perfect definition of closure? In this way we all get to appreciate exactly where we are right now!

Therefore, for my last post of 2016. I have indulgently picked 6 of my personal faves from the last year on Daisy Jones.

Nostalgia is allowed in an end of year, review post, right?

In no particular order then…

This post  about our kitchen, took awhile to write, by the time I was ready to publish, I realised our kitchen had changed yet again! However, the magic of blogging meant that I had recorded many of these steps, so I had some fun before and after pics to share…

Next a crochet one, actually an Amigurumi succulent called Carl! He is so sweet and I love Lydia’s patterns so much how could I not share all this cuteness?

This post filled me with pride. a long held ambition was fulfilled. Our house was photographed by a professional interiors photographer and published in a magazine! To add to my pride I had a sewing project published in a sewing mag in the same month…’my cup run’eth over’

My favourite Diy was this one We used 4 old baked bean tin cans and turned them into something rather attractive in my opinion…

Another interior post, that I am proud of for a different reason. Our bedroom reveal… Marc built our bed as well as completely redecorating our bedroom in a matter of days! Under my direction and supervision of course! (shhhh)

My last choice is this one from March ; That Pattern one how could I not include this post? Such an amazing moment in the life of Lazy daisy jones…
