Snacking equipment? Yes you read that right. Let me explain; I have declared myself to be a fully fledged and very talented ‘snacker’ Therefore in order to fully enjoy this specialised craft, the correct equipment is needed.
Being unable to find the right snack equipment, is a problem that has defeated me for some time. I was worried. My solution to banish my worries was to try the handmade Guatemalan ‘Worry dolls’ from Dotcom gift shop. I reasoned that if they could not help me solve my snacking worries, I would pop them into a Christmas stocking.
“You may be suprised then to learn that the main equipment that today’s healthy snacker cannot live without, are snacking bowls…”
After whispering to them last thing at night, and tucking them under my pillow. I forgot all about my worries…and the answer to my problem was soon revealed.
You may think that the main necessity for a snacking fan would be a snack? Wrong! Anything can be turned into a snack, that part is easy. For example, an apple chopped up finely, eaten with your fingers, is not only perfect but healthy, add in some diced, somerset mature cheddar and you almost have a meal. My mouth waters at the mere thought of this one.
You may be suprised then to learn that the main equipment that today’s healthy snacker cannot live without, are snacking bowls.
Not just any bowls… oh no us snackers have rules and conditions:
- They must not be too large, or too small in size.
- At least four of them should fit nicely on a small side table.
- They should not be too deep, portion sizes must be considered.
- They should not be too shallow, see point number 3.
- The perfect size will hold a small packet of Cadburys mini eggs
- They must be attractive and sturdy.
- Price is a consideration, Research has shown snackers will not usually spend more than a tenner!
An important announcement
Drum roll please? … I have found the perfect snacking bowls from Dotcom Gift shop.
These little beauties are from the Marrakesh Stoneware range. They are perfect snack bowls!
They also wash well in the dishwasher, because in our house everything goes in the dishwasher. Life is too short to buy dishes that dont go in the dishwasher, right?
A perfect gift perhaps for the consummate snacker in your house?
