Would you like to see some little corners of my home as is? Those perfect, magazine images of other people’s homes. Inspiring or envy inducing? Magazines don’t show the mess of real life do they? Well of course they don’t and if they did they wouldn’t sell many copies…
This morning as I gazed around my untidy but creative home I decided to snap a few rough shots of what my home really and truly looks like today. All the pics are un-styled and mainly unedited.
Little Corners Of our Home Unstyled!
Ok, so first up is one from our bedroom, actually its ‘his’ side of the bedroom. He likes to keep his bedside table clear, just the remote and the globe are allowed. The clothes on the bed? clean washing waiting to be put away nice and definitely not one you would see in a magazine!
This one too, I snapped as is. However the dust that covers the whole surface doesn’t show as much as I hoped. Believe me there is a thick layer…
Here is a good one a lovely creative mess on the sofa today…again not one for a magazine eh?
Meanwhile across the other side of the room the dog snores on, oblivious to the mess and yarn that surrounds him…
One from the hall. It that needs a good hoover and dust and that mannequin is presently wearing an unfinished crochet project with ends trailing all over the floor…
A couple from my sewing room, actually these two aren’t that bad…the note on the shelf is to remind me what subject I am posting about on what day for the ldj crochet hook up game or else I get confused and post the wrong prompts!
That is all I am brave enough to show you for today!
The kitchen has last nights cups and glasses waiting to be stacked into the dishwasher and the floor is covered in muddy dog paw prints. Would you be brave enough to publish the reality of your home?
