Autumn crochet, two words that go together well…
Autumn crochet
Autumn is the perfect season for crochet. As the light begins to fade and the evenings draw in, the log fires are lit and the hooks come out. Chunky yarn is sourced and bought. New projects are planned and started. Time to crochet a cosy shawl perhaps?

Notes
A quick make, but slow going until I understood the very clever stitch design. Shawl is worked from end to end across widest point at the centre.
Half the circle is worked in one row and completed on the way back. linked by chains. Thoroughly enjoyed making this one and happy with the end result!
I think in would look lovely in a plain brown ‘burnt umber’ colour? Have you got a shawl planned for Autumn?

Happy hooking
