Lazy Daisy Jones

Create Crochet Sewing

In the press August, September…

I have not written an in the press post for awhile now. I have missed a few, so it’s time to catch up.

As you may know if you a regular reader of this blog, when I first started blogging, I dreamed of being featured in the press in either the newspapers or a magazine. Since then, four blogging years later, that dream has come true many times over. I am a very lucky gal.

This sounds awful I know, but the novelty does wear off! You really do get used to seeing yourself in writing especially when the magazines are ones about my passion or obsession with crafting, sewing and crochet.

That is until this month…it was very special!

Last week the postie delivered on time and I sat down with my coffee to read…Well not just one magazine but two! I have features and designs in Love Sewing magazine issue 30, and Crochet Now Magazine issue 5.

Not only that but Love Sewing magazine has my blog name on the front cover. I wrote a small piece about sewing storage tips and there are more pics of my sewing room too.

For Crochet Now magazine I designed a very simple project for a ‘corner to corner’ or a C2C blanket and matching cushion. It is really a crochet explanation of the stitch rather than a design. I did add tassels though and the cushion is fun!

Have you seen them yet, did you spot me?

Bestest wishes

I always appreciate a share!
