A look back at July the month during which, we all wait for school to break up and then collapse in a heap and celebrate just ‘slobbing around’ Late nights and lie ins are allowed, the rules are relaxed…
I make lists of all the things I would like to achieve in the free time I have. I plan projects, have time to read magazines and ‘play’ outside when ever I can, no pressure.
A look back at July
Spruced up the small sitting room:
Marc finished making our bed, as in building it! I am planning a big reveal to show you very soon:
I started a new crochet project it is a blanket called ‘Brighton Plaid’ pattern designed by Cecile Balladino! Perfect for using up my scraps.
A short holiday was taken in North Devon. we stayed in a cottage on a farm that had its own hot tub with a view of the sea, it was heavenly. We picked the best week for the weather too. What a beautiful coastline it is, the scenery took my breath away and to think all this is just a few hours drive away from our front door!
A super time was had by all we and we will be going back asap, to explore more…
If you read the recent post on my holiday hat crochet make-over you will know we took our dog? he had a fabulous time! this is him in Clovelly. However that hill is steep on the way back up!
I hope you are enjoying a relaxing summer break too?
