My Temporary blogging Nook

In the last week I have had to create a little blogging nook for myself. My normal room aka my sewing room. Is being used as a dumping room, whilst we redecorate me sons room! I am someone who cannot think straight in a mess. I need organisation and space in order to be able to create and think, let alone stay calm!

My New Blogging Nook

Therefore, I have now retired to a temporary  blogging nook in our sitting room. Here I can sit in peace, make plans, write lists and attempt to be organised  at least for now.

The desk* is from Kit out my office, you can buy it in other colours too. There is much to admire on this desk… ‘A’ frame legs, a walnut finish and the two draws are so long I could fit boxes of stationary in them.

Kit out my Office are based in Yorkshire, all their products are made in the UK! They also hold ISO and FSC certificates because they consider people, wildlife and the environment at all times. They also deliver the next day, now that sounds like a business to admire?

After I have used this desk as my temporary office it will be going into the teens room, for homework purposes. You can bet it wont stay looking this pretty and tidy. In a couple of weeks it will be covered in plastic plectrums, sheet music and mini engine parts, with a topping of oil and acrylic paints to finish!

Most of the things I have on the desk are either vintage items found at boot fairs or as in the lamp and the picture frame, things Marc has restored for me. Can you tell that blue is my favourite colour?

Do you have a space of your own? Do you have a little blogging nook like this one?
