Joseph Joseph kitchen accessories have been happily inhabiting my kitchen for some years. Are you a fan of their stylish products?or perhaps you have not yet heard of them? if so let me introduce you…
“…Founded in 2003 by twin brothers Anthony and Richard, Joseph Joseph specializes in creating design-led products for the kitchen and home with a strong emphasis on form, functionality and quality…”
I have had their superb index chopping board set at the top of my kitchen wishlist for ages. This is a set of four colour-coded chopping boards in a storage case. My only problem was that the original colourway, although gorgeous, did not ‘sit’ well with the blue ‘Darjeeling’ wallpaper from Mini moderns, that we have in our colourful kitchen.
How pleased was I to learn that a new fresh, more contemporary colourway has just been launched called Opal
…”Combining Joseph Joseph’s signature hues, Opal creates a fresh and contemporary palette. The colours compliment a range of different kitchen styles, from traditional to modern…”
So the index chopping board set, is no longer on my wish list, because it is in my kitchen!
I had various reasons for wishing for this set; firstly because by using the various boards for each different food category you avoid the danger of cross contamination. Secondly it stores away so neat and tidily. Then there are all the tiny details that help to make these boards a ‘must have’ ie. a different cutting surface for each food category , and little grooves that catch juices and crumbs. I bet Marc wishes we had these when he made all that marmalade recently?
Joseph Joseph have refreshed some of their other best selling products in this colourway too.
The Opal range is available in store and online at www.josephjoseph.com
Do pop over and take a look you won’t be disappointed!
best wishes
Disclosure. I was lucky to be sent this set as a gift, for review purposes, however I have long been a fan of Joseph Joseph Products and would not recommend anything that I would not buy myself to you! I truly love this chopping board set.
