Lately: discovering the joyful…

These ‘lately’ blog posts are a pleasure to write, those little things you forget about so quickly…

It usually happens whilst I am downloading images for a planned blog posts or a new project. Amongst the crafting and the yarn, I find photos of real life, joyous moments and silly antics. In other words all the best bits of family and life in general. Those small moments that pass by in a flash…

It may be on the journey to work, when after moaning about the cold and having to scrape the windscreen, you realise its actually a beautiful frosty morning and stop the car to take a picture. All at once feeling lucky to be alive!

Or during a half term visit to London with the ‘boys’ you are moaning about your aching feet, when you happen to look up and notice how blue the sky is, or how wonderful the architecture is in our capital city. Proud to be English!

St Pauls London

These two were fascinated with this docklands statue? I ask you boys eh? (funny creatures, cant live with ’em, can’t live without em)

It may just be days at home alone (blissful) with magazines and pretty parcels in the post…

It may be a stressful journey to collect a beloved pet from the vets and on the way you notice mountain goats and the bluest sky you could ever imagine on a February afternoon! If you look carefully you will see 5 of them, not good quality but this was taken with my phone…
( The cat is doing well by the way)

It may just be a day spent at home with flu, a sleeping dog, coffee and crochet. The sun peeps in the window and all is well. Small moments of joy…

Or noticing the undeniable signs of spring in the garden…

I do hope you are finding some joyful moments no matter how small they are…
