Buying for Men that need or want nothing
Buying for men can be hard. Wanting and needing are two very different things
Buying for Men The Problem:
My ‘talented other half’ and I have birthdays that are very close together. Therefore we prefer to save up for joint celebratory gifts, perhaps a weekend away or a London theatre trip? For our actual birthdays we give each other small gifts.
I find it difficult to buy for him. If he wants something ie. a new tool or a piece of specialist equipment he will buy it.
When (subtly) questioned about wanting and needing anything, he will he reply that he wants for nothing and has everything he needs. Whilst that makes me happy, it does not make it easy to select the perfect gift for him. So what do you buy or make for the man that wants or says he needs nothing?
I was looking for something personal, something he would not buy himself, and preferably under £25….
Photos on a canvas prints … a eureka moment!
He has a new obsession its called a “Cushman Truckster” he is patiently restoring this cute little three wheeler vehicle to its former glory. At the moment it is in pieces, stripped it down to its nuts and bolts.
I found some photos we had taken before he started the restoration, and emailed it to ‘Photos on Canvas prints’ Quick as a flash, the very next week I received a canvas print* I think this is a perfect gift for a man who says wants or needs nothing.
He loves it BUT it has one proviso he has to hang it in his work shed or the garage!
I also put together a little photo book of the ‘before’ photos…he likes that so much he takes it to work with him, to show to his friends!
What do you buy for your man, is he difficult to buy for?
PS: This is a collaborative post, I received the canvas print* free of charge for review purposes. This does not affect my opinion which is honestly stated.
