Burda 7916 has turned out to be a very popular pattern! Mr August has chosen the sewing for men project this month. He wants another comfy t-shirt. He has been working in his ‘man-cave’ at home recently. Does your other half have a man cave? I suppose we have our sewing rooms so I suppose it is only fair that our men have their man-caves. Aka garages, sheds, allotments!
Sewing For Men is Easy . . . with Burda 7916
More of the well used Burda 7916 for men and boys.
When sewing for men or boys, I can highly recommend this pattern, a fast simple sew even for beginners. This t-shirt was whipped up for a very quick ‘ man-sew’ for August. Using scraps from previous man sews to sew a simple short sleeved t-shirt. Let’s call it a mash-up project? Whatever you call it, it is very Eco friendly as I hate to throw fabric away.
The collar band is from left over scraps from a previous sewing for men project, another t-shirt
Mr August is presently mending my old steam iron, do you see his wine racks? Last year he made some tasty wine from pears, I’m hoping it will soon be ready…Long live men in man caves….what say you?
