I haven’t written a catch-up post for some time and I don’t want you to miss anything.
I sew and crochet in between the posts I publish. Occasionally I judge a ‘make’ too small to be worthy of a whole post on its own, so I try to save them for round-up posts… like this one.
So lets catch up shall we?
Inspired by one, I hooked up another:
I have started a new sewing project with a stunning (I think) ponte di roma fabric from Girl Charlee fabrics, more later, I am taking my time with this one:
Long walks in the country side, I was amazed at the delicate beauty of the meadow flowers.
They have given me an idea for a new crochet Autumn project too.
Shopping in Tiger, one of my favourite shops, not all for me I bought a few gifts for others too!
More shopping: I discovered a wonderful maker on instagram and bought some mugs from her: they came beautifully wrapped, she does one for every hobby, I also have a sewing one (of course I do!) and I bought a dear friend a knitting one. The shop is called Deez Dutch and you can buy them here on etsy
I have been playing with my pegboard: do you like the washi tape displayed on a pencil?
We have been on day trips to London; these are some of the flowers outside Winchester train station:
…and last but not least, still putting things to rights after having new flooring laid;
What about those tins then hmmmm? I collect them, but only the pink and lilac ones with the lady and the soldier, because those are the ones I remember and love best from my childhood. Will you admit to remembering them shhhh I wont tell?
