On my last post I mentioned the Amara Interior Blog awards. I was delighted to discover I had been nominated for an award in the best ‘diy. and crafts blog’ category.
The first stage was to be nominated, the second stage is voting (as is the case in most competitions/awards like this) Then the top 5 blogs with the most votes in each category go through to the final shortlist to be judged. There is an awards evening too, it will be held in London and looks to be super glossy.
All very nice and exciting I hear you say BUT and this is my problem…the bigger the blog, the bigger the following and the bigger the voting pool! am I right?
There are professional blogs also nominated in my category, they are big and beautiful and have huge followings…
I almost felt like not bothering and giving up when I saw them, but I have decided to try.
So, I need your support my bloggy friends and followers. You know what I am going to say don’t you?
Please can you vote for me? and when you vote can you also press the share button and ask your followers to help by voting for me too? Then can you ask your friends and family?
Every little helps! All voting details at the end of the post…
My Strategy so far:
I have employed a ‘campaign manager’ Her name is Buttercup.
For the last week she has been travelling the length and breadth of the back garden, practicing her speeches.
At one point she trespassed into the ‘out of bounds’ area and is now being watched by the authorities, they have her down as a public nuisance!
She is resting today, having declared it to be a ‘banners down’ day.. I have taken over for awhile.
So what do you think do you have any other campaign ideas I could borrow? I need all the help I can get.
How to vote
You can vote by clicking onto my personal page and please do share if you have face book or twitter, there is a prompt to do so after you have voted. (untick the box if you do not wish to be notified of any further news.)
Or you can click on the black ‘vote now’ sign at the top of my side bar….Thanking you in advance!
