How to Crochet a Toadstool
The Pattern is by
I need to hook up the ‘house fly’ next.
The Yarn: Rowan pure wool dk apart from the face this was a Stylecraft dk acrylic from my stash.
The Hook i used a 3.5, pattern advises a size 2. I like large fast projects so the 3.5 end result was larger but gorgeous as I think you will agree /
My opinion: I changed some colours ie. grey instead of brown, and I embroidered the front in my own grassy design.
You may need to tighten up your tension if you are a looser crocheter.
I needed to completely concentrate on the pattern to get it right.
Overall a very well written pattern, with fabulous easy to follow illustrations to help along the way.
Go on and buy one, treat yourself!
You may have seen some pics of Paul in the early stages of his life, on my Instagram. he looked like this below! Just look at that cute crochet toadstool hat its almost life-size.
