Another crochet blanket?

So how many have you made?

A question for you: why oh why do we love making them? (even when we have six/seven/eight already) The answer is  easy…
…they are relaxing to hook up, they grow quickly, they are cosy to snuggle into, you can take them out on picnics  (I even keep one in the car) they are superb at  brightening up any space anywhere and they are usually cheap to make.

Oh go on then… just one more, after all it would be a shame not to use up those pretty yarn scraps.

You saw a few pics of this blanket on this post, it has ‘grown up’ since then. It began like this…

…and has ended up like this: still unfinished. I have run out of yarn… typical!

I promise I will show you the completed blanket very soon…

I plan on lots and lots of tassels to finish, or then again maybe a fringe.
