Catching up: a pheasant, a chair, nail varnish and sewing for a man.
These are the days that run away from me, every year, same time same place. You will find me driving along the beautiful country lanes, on my way to work, happy as Larry (who is Larry?)
singing along to the ‘choons’ blaring from the speakers and wondering where the year has gone and exactly how did it fly by so fast?
Almost christmas: plans, lists, work sewing, home sewing, appointments, remembering who, what, why and where. It is the same for all of us…. I know. I would not want it any other way, its life and a wonderful one at that!
So a quick round-up of recent things I have not blogged about ..I blame instagram its all on IG the bits I capture with my phone but then forget to blog about….
Catch up no. 1 I did some ‘man sewing’ (more details to follow)…
I sewed him a very simple t-shirt it took about an hour, he loves it and it fits perfectly.
An added Bonus, he has even agreed to model it later…watch this space?
Catch-up no 2 Wildlife in our garden:
That pheasant
…. he just appeared and ‘swanked’ past the window performing a tightrope trick along the top of our fence.
I was sipping a coffee and thought I was imagining it!
Catch up no. 3: a beauty rave…. my new fave nail polish: via Birchbox this month
Catch up no. 4 A make-over…..toh has retreated to his ‘cave’ and has started a professional ‘retro- restoration’ on a chair for my sewing room…
woohoo….says I !
lucky me?
What are you up to? (apart from tree decorating and christmas stuff) are you managing to fit in some sewing or craft time? I do hope so!
bestest
