Crochet Christmas Wreath Snowmen & Mistletoe
How I made my Christmas Crochet Wreath
This is not a Christmas wreath pattern, there are lots on Pinterest. this is an inspo post. Genuine creative inspiration takes you by surprise. It devours you and spits you out whole again only after you produce your own project. Inspired by images from Simply crochet magazine I knew I simply had to hook up my own Christmas crochet wreath I gathered supplies from my stash (I knew those bits I kept would come in handy one day!) Crocheted a few extras and purchased some tiny miniature lights online, sorry I can’t remember where, but it was probably Amazon.
A Christmas Crochet Wreath Mostly Made from scraps!
First I double crocheted around a large polystyrene wreath available from Hobbycraft. Next I blocked and sewed my mistletoe together. then added the teeny tiny lights and sewed them in place. Decorated and added a tiny tree, the pattern was from an amigurumi Christmas book. Made the snowman a scarf with pompoms on (from the same amigurumi book) Raided the Christmas decorations box for the plastic candy cane and finished off by crocheting a blue strip of treble crochets (US DC) and tied it in a bow and sewed everything on the my Christmas Crochet wreath.
