Daisy sews OWOP: Day two: a dress on a bike !
OWOP: or
‘One week one pattern,’ A week of wearing one pattern in many different ways.
My choice is a 1967 vintage Simplicity dress pattern no. 6965.
You can read more about the reasons I chose this pattern HERE
Day 1 of the challenge can be found HERE
Day Two
This is the first thing I sewed from this pattern.
If you are interested you can read the original post HERE.
The first time I wore it I was very ladylike!
I digress back to OWOP….
It was a beautiful Sunday and we were planning a bike ride with the pooch!
I needed cool and I needed layers, I also needed to cover my legs whilst on the bike.
I guess the outfit chose itself….
The dress went casual….
….and just to prove I really did ride my bike the OH took pics to prove it!
Of course the pooch came too…
and hitched a lift when the going got tough….wish I could have done that!
we stopped to look at scenery along the way…
…our ‘trusty rusty steeds’ did us proud….my bike does not get to see much action these days.
at the end there was tea and cake (of course there was!)
This was our view…. the cafe is on the platform of an old restored railway station…
so until next time……
