My summer diy a Garden chandelier inspired by Mollie Makes!

Have you seen the Summer Homestyle booklet that came free with issue 40 of Mollie Makes?

It has the ‘taste’ of summer on every page!

I was inspired to get together with my talented other half and make this….

A garden tea light chandelier!

from these….

I used to keep my buttons in these little jars from ikea, alas my buttons have outgrown these jars.

 The shelves I still find very useful.

So it started like this…..

…..reading the little summer homestyle booklet mentioned above….

I spied those painted chalk jars!

….we went shopping for tester pots…..

….we found some unloved tins…

we sat outside in the summer sunshine and got very messy…..

pretty soft colours, note the pastels 

It was so worth it.

In my favourite corner of the garden 

It looks lovely where ever we put it…..

and it is so pretty when the sun shines through it!

….even in the dark it is stunning….

(tea lights if you were wondering)

What do you think …maybe give it a go ? 

(I have to say…. a talented other half will come in very useful for this project!!)
