Before we get ‘down and dirty’ with the official sew-along start tomorrow….
‘Preparation’
You may want to wash and iron your fabric?
I don’t always do this, but it is advisable.
The reason is ‘shrinkage’ .
Imagine you have just made a perfect skirt with the perfect fit, you wash it for the first time and it shrinks!
It is now too short and too tight.
