Stitched Journal Project March.
Now look here Miss Daisy Jones, have we bin watching too much ‘Breaking Bad’
what has happened to your former eloquence my dear?
‘Stitchin’
Linking up with one of my favourite bloggers Lola Nova for the Monthly Stitched Journal Project
My contribution for March is about another favourite, shoes.
As it says on the cloth.
(In case you cannot read that scribble, I will translate)
I heart shoes.
Purple ones…
Red ones…
and comfy one (slippers)
Bitchin
I used my brand new overlocker to sew the seams and it is ‘bitchin’ loosely translated as ‘extremely wonderfully good!’
This is a back view of the piece look at those seams?
How neat are they?
I realise this a type of patchwork (well joined up fabric then)
and in ‘big patchwork grown-up world’ I am sure that seams like this are not allowed?
I love that this project gives me the opportunity to try other methods of sewing, ones that I would never otherwise try.
Patchwork and machine embroidery.
Therefore I am ‘using’ this project as a lovely experiment to play and have fun.
I am playing with my machines.
What could be better than that?
My two results so far for February and march
I think I can see a ‘style’ emerging can you?
MESSY
Bestest sewing fun to you all today…
Ps do pop over to Lola’s and have a look at the other project members beautiful work.
