Who loves crochet slugs? Ahem, yep crochet slugs!! At last the Sun is shining…..So in keeping with my joyful mood today I would like to show you my finished crocheted Spring Wreath complete with a crochet slug and I have to admit I love a crochet slug or three!
A Crochet slug munching vintage buttons!
it has a slug of course…..all spring gardens do! He is munching on vintage buttons…..
and eyeing up that daffodil …..
The Crochet Slug details:
The felt flowers, ribbon and polystyrene base were from Hobbycraft spring range, I used my old scraps of yarn and vintage pearly buttons for the rest.
Would you like to hook up your own version? Crochet a narrow strip of strip double crochet stitches, sew it around a polystyrene wreath, keep the seam at the back, then crochet some flower or leaves, add accessories and sew it all on. wrap a pretty ribbon around it and tie in a loop at the top. you can use this to hang it anywhere you want!
