Where to begin? I have so much to tell you…..
Once upon a time, not too long ago, I had dreams of grandeur, the other half called them fantasies!
I dreamed of one day becoming a blogger that was invited to press launches, had features in magazines and maybe even got to meet a few of my ‘heroines’ along the way.
On Thursday February 13th to be precise, I woke up and all my dreams came true!
I had been invited by Hobbycraft to the press launch for Kirstie Allsopp’s exclusive range of craft kits, and Hobbycrafts own range of Spring and Easter crafts products.
We travelled by train and arived at ‘Homemade London’ the venue of the launch.
I dispatched the the ‘talented other half’ explaining it was a ‘girly’ thing and he happily set off to explore Oxford Street.
Once inside it was heaven…. full of the most colourful and cheerful Spring and Easter products I had seen in a long time….
bright and….Beautiful….!
Downstairs a beautifully decorated Spring tree greeted us, covered in all things hobbycraft.
do you see the floor was covered in an astro turf mat!
There was something for everyone, no matter how old or how ‘crafty’ you are!
Products that fascinated just because they were so darn clever!
I spied these cuties in the cake decorating section.
They are cupcakes!!
and these cupcake baking cups too too cute…
Then there was Kirstie Allsopp’s new range for hobbycraft, clever, cute and affordable craft kits to buy as gifts…. or in my case keep for yourself!
I chose a Button Kit….
…it contains all sorts treasures; buttons and findings,
…..everything you need to make jewelry, or home decor projects.
I intend to make a bracelet for myself.
I promise I will keep you updated on my progress very soon.
Some products interested me more than others like this one.
Hobby craft will soon be launching a range of Duck tape.
I never knew you coud do so much with it!
I was given this pink rose on the end of a pen all made with duck tape.
Having an addiction to all things ‘yarny’ I particularly admired the boodles yarn
the colours for spring are scrumptious.
The more I saw, the more I was inspired, my mind began conjuring ideas for crochet wreaths
I started as soon as I got home…
….this is my progress so far…
I have decided it will be a ‘Spring Wreath’
Celebrating all things bright and beautiful, just like everything you can find in hobbycraft right now…so pop down to your local store…Spring has Sprung!
