One of my Favourite Christmas presents: Fujifilm Instax mini 8

I would like to show you a christmas present……just one I promise!

It is one of my favourite Christmas presents.

Its fun, 

Its magical, 

and comes in 5 colours….pink, blue, white,black and yellow!

It is a Fujifilm Instax mini 8 camera!

It is an instant film camera, I love it so much. 

Mine is pastel blue, you simply point and snap and then a little credit card size photo pops out at the top.

There is something so special about waiting for that film to develop…its the anticipation.

The films come in playing card size boxes, they are pre printed with colours and designs.

You can buy ‘Miffy ‘films or rainbow colour ones as I have…

and you can buy special pens to write on the pictures…

I have also bought a little blue camera bag for it. I can now take it everywhere I go.

I am in love.

It lives on the shelf with my vintage ‘Sun 650 Polaroid’ and my ‘Diana F’

Now, I must say it is very tricky not to shoot without a ‘blurrrry’ effect because I have been so used to my digital cameras, with anti-shake settings.

I have improved…..but the film is not cheap and there are only 10 in a pack…looks like I will have to economise….. maybe give up a magazine or two…but which one?
